Wussy is an indie rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio, that formed in 2001. The group has received critical acclaim from such sources as Rolling Stone,[1] Robert Christgau,[2] Chicago (magazine),[3] and SPIN Magazine.[4] Chuck Cleaver started the band after his prior group Ass Ponys.[5]

In 2012 Robert Christgau wrote that "Wussy have been the best band in America since they released the first of their five superb albums in 2005"[6]
