There is, however, one exception: on top of the Schengen visa exemption of 90 days in a 180 day period, U.S. citizens can stay for an extra 90 days without a visa in Denmark (as long as they have not previously visited Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and/or Sweden during the 90 days' Schengen visa-exempt period).[144]
