The 2013 United States general elections will be held on Tuesday, November 5th, 2013. This off-year election will only feature special elections to the United States Congress, if any. There will also be gubernatorial and state legislative elections in a few states; as well as numerous citizen initiatives, mayoral races, and a variety of other local offices on the ballot.

Federal elections

This off-year election will feature any special elections to the 113th United States Congress. The 113th Congress will be voted into office during the 2012 elections.

State elections

At least two states will hold gubernatorial elections in 2013:

Legislative elections are expected to be held for the New Jersey General Assembly and the Virginia House of Delegates.
