Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer, known as Theodore Boone: Young Lawyer in the UK, is a 2010 legal thriller and the first novel by John Grisham for middle grade children (8-13 year olds),[1] although not the first story to involve a child protagonist. It is the first in a series about Theodore Boone. Grisham jokingly said in an interview that he wanted to catch up with Harry Potter, since his number one place was taken in the bestsellers.[2]

Theodore Boone: The Abduction (2011) is the second book in the series of Theodore Boone. It is written by John Grisham and is the second book that he has written for 8-13 year olds. The third book is called Theodore Boone: The Accused, and went on sale on 15 May 2012.
