Andrew Taylor Boggs (born February 20, 1987) is an American football center and guard who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Humboldt State in Arcata, California. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Jets in 2011.

Professional career[edit]

New York Jets[edit]

After going unselected in 2011 NFL Draft, Bogs signed with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent. He was placed on injured reserve in August 2011 before being cut in April 2012.[1]

Chicago Bears[edit]

Boggs appeared in one game for the Bears in 2013.[2] Although Boggs was set to be an exclusive rights free agent after 2013,[3] he was resigned to a one-year deal on February 24, 2014.[2] The Bears signed him to the team's practice squad on September 1, 2014 after waiving him earlier for final roster cuts.[4] He would be activated on September 13.[5] He received an injury settlement from the Bears and was released on October 16, 2014.[6]
