Tad Agoglia is the founder of The First Response Team of America, a nonprofit organization that provides immediate, emergency aid to areas hit by disasters. Since May 2007, the team has helped thousands of victims at numerous disaster sites across the United States. Tad is originally from Long Island, New York.
Tad was selected as a Top Ten Hero in the 2008 CNN Heroes contest under the "Community Crusader" category. In 2010, Tad was awarded a Jefferson Award - the "Nobel Prize for community and public service", in the 35 and Under Category. Agoglia was also nominated as a finalist in GQ's 2010 " Better Man, Better World Search".
