Scantron Corporation is an American company based in Eagan, Minnesota, that manufactures and sells machine-readable papers on which students mark answers to academic multiple-choice test questions. To analyze those answers, the machines use image-based data collection software and scanners. Scantron is a division of M&F Worldwide.
Scantron was a member of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) from 2010 until it resigned from the organization in 2012.
