Biography

Baeza lived in Mexico during her childhood. Her Mexican father and her English mother were hippie musicians. In 1975, when Baeza was 5 months old, her parents married in London and they went to Mexico City. They divorced nine years afterwards. Baeza returned to the United Kingdom with her mother in 1985. She started acting classes and appeared very early in the London theatres and British televised productions. She studied English and performing arts at Bristol University. Baeza is the director of two films, the 2006 TV film The Window and the 2001 short film Watchmen; she co-wrote the latter film with actor Cillian Murphy, who also starred.[1] Her partner is screenwriter/novelist Alex Garland (The Beach, 28 Days Later, Sunshine). They have two children, Milo and Eva.
