The Pakistan Scouts Cadet College Batrasi (PSCC) is a boarding institution located in the serene hills of Mansehra at a distance of 16 km from Mansehra city on the road to Kaghan which is a hill station in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The college was established in 1996, and is the first institution in the world being run by a scout organization.

History[edit]

The college was started as a residential institution in 1996. The buildings initially being used by the college were actually constructed by the Pakistan Scouts Association in coordination with the Government of Pakistan for Bosnian refugees being displaced in the Bosnian War. However, due to certain circumstances the refugees never came. The buildings were then allotted by the Scouts Association to build an institute of academic excellence.

Mission Statement[edit]

Pakistan Scouts Cadet College Batrasi is one of the eminent educational institutions of our country. Established in 1996, it is relatively younger than its sister institutions of repute in the country. Within a short span of time, the institution has achieved a status of distinction and is on road to further development and progress. Students from across the country and abroad come to study at the college. It is our endeavour to provide the best environments conducive for both physical and mental development of the students.

A serene and peaceful environment close to nature is an added advantage that we have. We provide quality education through which we aim to exploit the potentials and inculcate in the character of the students; integrity, honesty, hard work and discipline. Through these traits, character building of the students is to be achieved. We have been successful to a great extend in achieving these objectives of the College. We have produced outstanding academic results and excelled in co-curricular activities. Our students have managed to get into outstanding professional institutions. Along with the academic activities the developmental projects in the College are also underway in different areas. As the College is passing through a rapid development in these fields, a wide network of activities has been witnessed over the years. A number of activities and events are being unfolded at the every passing moment.[1]
