In Greek mythology, Orphne, also known as Styx and Gorgyra,[1] was a nymph that lived in Hades. With Acheron, she mothered Ascalaphus.[1]

Orphne also seems to be one translation of the name of the Roman goddess Caligo (Darkness).[1]
