Miss Universe Australia is an annual national beauty pageant that has selected Australia's representative to the Miss Universe pageant since 2004.

History[edit]

Miss Universe Australia is a national beauty pageant of Australia owned by national director Deborah Miller that every year selects a representative to go to the international Miss Universe pageant which is owned by Mr. Donald Trump and NBC.

Before Miss Universe Australia, the official representatives at Miss Universe from Miss Australia pageant winner. There have been two Miss Universe title holders from Australia: Kerry Anne Wells in 1972 and Jennifer Hawkins in 2004. Hawkins was the first Miss Universe Australia candidate and the first from the pageant to win Miss Universe.

The current Miss Universe Australia is Tegan Martin from Newcastle. Tegan will compete at Miss Universe 2014 with place and venue to be announced.
