Kim Kold (born 25 August 1965) is a Danish actor and former bodybuilder. Standing at 6' 4" (1.93m) tall and weighing 308 lbs (140 kg), he is primarily known for his hulking size.

Bodybuilding career[edit]

Kold used to play football and played around 150 matches as a goalkeeper in the lower leagues until he suffered from an injury at the age of 27. He was sent to the gym for rehabilitation training, where he took up an interest in bodybuilding[1] and started competing in 1997.[citation needed] He won the Danish National Bodybuilding Championship in 2006.

Acting career[edit]

Kold was persuaded by his friend, film director Mads Matthiesen, to play the title role in a 2007 short film by Matthiesen called Dennis.[citation needed] The film was not promoted, but soon became viral and Kold made his name as an amateur actor. In 2012, Kold reprised the role of Dennis when Matthiesen made Teddy Bear, a feature-length adaptation of Dennis.[2] He appeared in Fast & Furious 6, his first Hollywood film, in 2013.

Other ventures[edit]

Kold worked as a locksmith in Denmark for several years during his bodybuilding career. He owns his own security business in Puerto Banús.[citation needed]
