KNTU (88.1 FM) is the campus radio station of the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. The signal of the station covers much of the Dallas and Fort Worth Metroplex of North Texas with a format of news and primarily jazz music. Any University of North Texas student is welcome to work at the station, but most of the staff consists of those majoring in Radio, Television, and Film or Journalism.

In addition, KNTU students produce a weeknight newscast, The Late Edition, which was recognized in 2004 by the Broadcast Educators Association "BEA Festival - 2004 Winners". Archived from the original on 2008-06-11. Retrieved 2008-07-05.  as "Best Student Newscast in the Nation," and simulcasts WFAA's News 8 at Six (weekdays).
