John Massari (born Giovanni Massari 25 March 1957 in New York City, New York) is an American composer and sound designer. He is perhaps best known for scoring such films as the 1988 cult classic Killer Klowns from Outer Space,[1] Mike Jittlov's The Wizard of Speed and Time, his theme to The Wonderful World of Disney, and creating the sound design for Lady Gaga's lead single "Bad Romance".[2]

Early life[edit]

John Massari was born 25 March 1957 in New York City, New York. In the summer of 1960, Massari saw his first two films Journey to the Center of the Earth (1959) and The Time Machine (1960). The scores to both films inspired Massari to pursue music composition.[3]
