George Anthony Moncur (born 18 August 1993) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for West Ham United.

Club career

A youth team player with West Ham United, Moncur signed his first professional contract in September 2010.[3] He played youth and reserve team football and was an unused substitute in West Ham's League Cup defeat to Aldershot Town in August 2011.[4] In January 2012 he moved on loan to League Two side, AFC Wimbledon until 4 February 2012.[3] Moncur made his debut for Wimbledon on 14 January against Port Vale.[5] In March 2012 his loan was extended for a third month.[6] He scored his first goal on 24 March, in a 4-0 win against Burton Albion.[7] He scored his second goal for the club on 21 April in a 2-0 home win against Torquay United.[8]He made his first team debut for West Ham on 28 August 2012 against Crewe Alexandra in the Football League Cup coming on as an 84th minute substitute for Kevin Nolan.[9] West Ham won the match 2–0.[9]

International career

Moncur has played for the England under 18 team and England under 19 team.[3][10]

Personal life

He is the son of former West Ham player, John Moncur.[11]
