Fay Masterson (born April 1974)[citation needed] is an English film, television and video-game actress. She is also a voice actress.

Career[edit]

Masterson's performance career began as a dancer which she gave up at age 11 to attend the Brite Lites Academy in Eltham, South East London. Masterson started her acting career as a child actress at age 14 with her first appearance as Head Girl in The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking (1988), a fantasy-adventure, musical, family film. These roles include guest appearances on the television series Jupiter Moon (1990 and 1996), Casualty,[clarification needed] Game On (1996) and The Ruth Rendell Mysteries (1991).[2]

After moving to the United States,[citation needed] she has appeared in films including The Power of One (1992),[3] The Man Without a Face (1993)[4] and A Christmas Carol (2009).[2][5]

She has developed a following for her characters in the films of Larry Blamire, particularly her chipper '50s housewife Betty Armstrong in The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra and The Lost Skeleton Returns Again.

In spite of Masterson's anonymity and lack of "gossip", she has appeared on screen with: Peter O'Toole, Tom Cruise, Mel Gibson, Tim Curry, Vanessa Redgrave, Chevy Chase, Leonardo DiCaprio, Nicole Kidman, Sharon Stone, Gene Hackman, Russell Crowe, Jack Palance, Stephen Dorff, Anthony Michael Hall, Rob Lowe, Tom Berenger, Luke Perry, William Shatner, John Cleese and Burt Reynolds among many others.
