Ethan Philan Randall (born June 13, 1978), known by his stage name Ethan Embry, is an American film and television actor.[1] He is best known for his role as Declan Giggs on the Showtime television series Brotherhood.[1]

Early life[edit]

Embry was born in Huntington Beach, California, the son of screenwriter/talent manager mother and dental technician father, H. Charles and Karen Randall. He has an elder brother, Aaron, a music producer and musician, and a younger sister Kessia, a photographer.[2]

Career[edit]

Embry started acting in 1991, at age 13. Throughout the 1990s, he had several starring roles in films, including National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation (1997), Empire Records (1995), and the teen comedy Can't Hardly Wait (1998). He had a major role in Showtime's Brotherhood, which premiered in 2006. The show was critically acclaimed and ran for three seasons.[1]

Personal life[edit]

Embry married actress Amelinda Smith on November 14, 1998. They had one child together. They divorced in 2002.[3]

Embry married actress Sunny Mabrey on July 17, 2005.[4] In 2012, Mabrey filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.[5] In 2013 Embry and Mabrey started dating again.[6]

In November 2006 Embry and Mabrey were robbed at gunpoint in their driveway.[7] In 2008, Embry settled a lawsuit with model Angelina Roudeza who had sued him after being thrown from his motorcycle in 2005.[8]
