Sister channels[edit]

Disney Junior[edit]

In 2011, Disney announced that Playhouse Disney Asia would be replaced by a new channel, Disney Junior. Playhouse Disney ceased broadcast on July 11, 2011 and was replaced with Disney Junior.

Disney XD[edit]

Main article: Disney XD § Malaysia

In September 15, 2012, Disney announced that Disney XD will be launched in Malaysia on Astro (Malaysian satellite television) on channel 617 in Standard Definition and channel 637 in High Definition and in Brunei on Kristal-Astro on channel 617 in SD.
