Derrick Pierce (born March 1, 1974), in Massachusetts USA, is an adult entertainer and radio talk show personality. He began his career in pornographic adult films in approximately 2005. As a child he moved to Southern California with his mother and grew up in the Sylmar area of the San Fernando Valley.

Early years[edit]

Adult performer Derrick Pierce was raised by a single mother whom he credits as being an extremely strong influence in his life and the primary reason for his intense appreciation of women. His mother was also in the entertainment world,[2] as were her girlfriends, and he has indicated that being brought up in a predominantly female atmosphere surrounded by beautiful women led to his attraction to and affinity for women. He became sexually active at age 13[3] and says that women always seemed to enjoy talking to him. While growing up, his mother feared that he might not make it past the age of 16 due to his wild and problematic behavior and lifestyle, but she is aware of his career in the sex industry and is generally supportive of what he does for a living.[3]

Career In Adult Films[edit]

As of 2008, he has appeared in over 100 feature films,[4] including "Chemistry 3", a unique cinema verite reality production featuring adult stars in candid scenes, (winner of AVN's Best Gonzo Release)[5] and "Upload", an adult sci-fi thriller and winner of AVN's Best Video Feature for 2008.[6] He has stated that to date, these are the two projects he is proudest of from a performance standpoint.[7] He has worked for just about every adult production company including Wicked Films, Venom, Brazzers, Naughty America, Vivid, Hustler, Playboy, and many more. Prior to his entry into the adult industry, he worked as a martial arts instructor in Southern California. His entry into the business was something of a coincidence when he met Lexi Tyler, an adult entertainer/dancer who frequented the gym where he worked as a trainer.[3] He eventually signed with L.A. Direct Models and immediately began working as an adult performer. Guy Cabo, a director who worked with Pierce in his first scene, was astonished at how talented he was so early in his career, and found it difficult to believe that he had just started in the business. According to Pierce, Mr. Cabo said that his talent was "scary".[3]

Work in other media[edit]

In May 2008, Derrick Pierce became the co-host with adult icon Kylie Ireland of Playboy's Sirius Radio show, "The Friday Night Threeway".[8] The premise of the show is based on the sexy and hot dynamic between Ireland and Pierce as bickering but good natured sexual playmates/confidantes, and an adult porn actress "threeway" girl chosen by them is featured as a weekly guest to join in the fun and participate in an on-air interview. The show has a call-in segment during which fans can ask questions and find out more about the insider workings, gossip within the adult industry, and current projects of the stars. During one show, Pierce stated that their show was the highest rated in their time slot.

Awards and nominations[edit]

Derrick Pierce has received nine nominations[9] for major industry-based awards from AVN (Adult Video Network), including best actor, best supporting actor, best newcomer (from XCritic), and best three-way performance (twice). In October 2009, he won for Best Male Performer at the Nightmoves Adult Award Show in Tampa, Florida.

Future Career Plans[edit]
