Céline Buckens (born 9 August 1996) is a Belgian teen actress.[1]

She played Émilie in Steven Spielberg's War Horse,[2][3] a role she won after only two auditions. Buckens plays Émilie, a young French girl who lives on a farm with her grandfather after she lost her parents and brother in the war.[4]

Education[edit]

Buckens has attended Thomas's London Day Schools and Godolphin and Latymer. She is currently attending St Mary's Ascot.[citation needed]
