Nadia G's Bitchin' Kitchen (Originally titled in Canada and officially known in the UK as "Bitchin' Kitchen") is an offbeat cooking show starring Nadia Giosia that used to air exclusively on Food Network Canada however also airs on the U.S. Cooking Channel and Food Network UK in the United Kingdom. Described as a show which "looks at the funny side of everyday situations and turns them into occasions worth celebrating". Bitchin' Kitchen evolved from popular three-minute internet videos starring commedienne Giosia as Nadia G.
Nadia G (Nadia Giosia) is the creator, writer, and host of the show. She is a first-generation Canadian of Italian Immigrants. She grew up in St Leonard, an Italian neighborhood in Montreal, Quebec. She portrays herself as having learned her cooking skills from her family especially her "nonnas" (grandmothers), and having mood swings at times, depending on what she is talking about. Throughout season two, she has also, on occasion, obsessed over jet packs. She wears a different outfit on each episode, with at least one shot per episode of her shoes. She also uses a number of slang terms from her area such as "Shkoff" which means to chow down, or "Tsaketa" which she calls her obligatory TV chef tagline.
Panos the Fish & Meat Guy (Panagiotis Koussioulas) is the meat and fish expert, as well as the occasional dairy product. He comes from a large Greek family, and at times is henpecked by his wife (portrayed by Angeliki Bardis), but he shows a lot of knowledge about all things meat and fish, as well as how to get "The Wet Look" with hair gel
Hans the scantily clad food correspondent (Bart Rochon) is the beefcake who talks about nutrients, health tips, and advice on staying healthy. He is a well-chiseled fitness type, who mostly does his reports with no shirt on, although he has been shown to occasionally show some hobbies that go against type, such as origami or knitting. He has claimed to be from Poland. He also claims to have invented a workout system that targets three major muscle groups five sets of fifteen reps, which he calls "Three Major Muscle Groups Targeted by Five Sets of Fifteen Reps".
The Spice Agent (Ben Shaouli) is the resident expert on spices, herbs, and certain other interesting ingredients. His actual name on the show is "Yeheskel Mizrahi", but Nadia G appears unable to say his name, deferring to a voice-over of the name being said, and just calls him The Spice Agent. In the final episode of the second season, Nadia manages to pronounce his name, with disastrous results. He hails from Ra'anana, Israel, and he regularly mentions his early home life. He sometimes becomes agitated when other cast members muscle in on his area of expertise.
