William Allen "Billy" Booth (November 7, 1949 - December 31, 2006)[1] was an American child actor, perhaps best known for his role as Dennis Mitchell's best friend Tommy Anderson on the CBS sitcom Dennis the Menace, based on the Hank Ketcham comic strip of the same name. He also made guest appearances on The Twilight Zone, My Three Sons, The Donna Reed Show, Lawman,[2] The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, and The Andy Griffith Show.

Booth graduated from Crescenta High School in 1967. He became a lawyer, and he taught business law at both Cuesta College and Cal Poly, both located in San Luis, Obispo County, California. He divorced his wife Kathern. His lawyer practice took place in Morro Bay, California.[citation needed]

Booth died on December 31, 2006[3][4] of liver complications at the age of fifty-seven. He is survived by his son, Devon Alexander Booth, his sister, Bonnie Booth Campbell, and his mother. He was cremated after his death.
