Allan Island is a 292 acre private island southwest of Anacortes, Washington and is part of the San Juan Island Chain.[1] Although owned by billionaire Paul Allen, the island is presently named after a Navy hero. The island made news when he put the island up for sale with the asking price of $13.5 million.
